Who Can We Help?
We can help everyone, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We welcome clients from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. Our focus is to not only help you with specific problems but to also enhance the wellbeing of your body, mind, and spirit.
If you feel overwhelmed or are in a situation where you are experiencing feelings of depression, stress, anxiety, or loss, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. We are here to help.
Our Specialties
There may be events from your past/present time that you want to gain a better understanding of and process, or there may be future goals you would like to achieve.
We specialize in anyone dealing with domestic violence or abuse, sexual assault, adult conflict, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. However, if you are dealing with something else, such as unhealthy coping skills, anger management, behavioral issues, infidelity, divorce, or require marital or premarital counselling, LCSS is here to help put you back in charge of your own life.
Risks and Benefits
Counselling can be a very emotional and draining process. It is important to understand that you may feel anger, sadness, fear, and tiredness after a session. The long-term outcome of counselling is to improve your quality of life, protect your mental health, and build on your individual strengths moving forward. Our counselors will consistently follow up on your emotional well-being, but you are encouraged to reach out for any support you require during the next session.
